Objectives of the College of Science, Mathematics and Engineering Technology (CSMET)
- To impart to the student the ability to apply mathematical and physical laws to solve real-world problems, using today's technology;
- To develop the students cognitive skills and ability to apply new knowledge and techniques of analysis to solve practical problems of society;
- To develop strong proficiencies in verbal and written communication skills;
- To modify and strengthen the curricula in the School of Engineering Technology and Sciences to ensure that the graduates have the skills needed to work effectively in chosen fields;
- To develop competent professional teachers in Industrial Technology Education who possess a broad knowledge of the four clusters of this field;
- To provide an opportunity for each area in the School of Engineering Technology and Sciences to receive professional accreditation, if applicable;
- To provide students an opportunity to reach high standards of intellectual performance in their fields of academic specialty.
